Nature experience away from the crowds: Discover Salto San Vicente

A Retreat of Serenity Discover a facet of Independencia that remains hidden to many. Salto San Vicente, located in the picturesque Zorrilla Cué zone, is the ideal place for guests who want to escape the hustle and bustle. Unlike the region's steep, high falls, this waterfall impresses with its width and the idyllic, large natural pool that forms at its base. Surrounded by dense, almost jungle-like vegetation and a striking rock face, the cool water invites visitors for an extended swim. It is the perfect spot for a relaxed picnic and an authentic nature experience.

Difficulty & Accessibility This excursion is relaxed and family-friendly.

Difficulty (Footpath): Easy. From the parking lot, a short, easily manageable path (approx. 200-300 meters) leads down to the water. No strenuous climbing is required.

The Experience: The path is short but beautifully green. Once at the bottom, the terrain is flat enough to comfortably sit by the shore.

Distance from the Hotel (Vista Alegre / Campito) From the hotel, embark on a small discovery tour through the rural beauty of Independencia.

Distance: Approx. 12 kilometers.

Driving Time: Allow about 25 to 30 minutes driving time. The route leads partly over asphalt and partly over the typical red dirt roads (Enripiado), which is usually easily manageable with a normal car in good weather (SUV recommended for more comfort).
